ExxonMobil is evaluating the size of the discovery at its latest wildcat off Guyana as the US supermajor significantly boosted the recoverable resource estimate at the prolific Stabroek block.
The supermajor has once again come up trumps on the block, late last week heralding the discovery of around 70 metres of "high-quality, oil-bearing carbonate reservoir" at the deep-water Ranger-1 wildcat.
