EXXONMOBIL has hit oil with its Liza-2 appraisal well off Guyana, where it is production testing the reservoir ahead of plans for an early production system on the discovery.
Guyana Energy Minister Raphael Trotman told the Associated Press this week that the Liza-2 appraisal well had found hydrocarbons and that the US supermajor was planning the next well in its drilling campaign.
