offshore fabricators have submitted offers to PTT Exploration & Production (PTTEP) to build wellhead platforms for the Zawtika gas project off Myanmar.
Up for grabs is an engineering procurement and construction contract for two wellhead platforms plus two optional platforms.
Bids were due in on 12 January, and it is understood that offers were received from Thailand contractors Cuel and Thai Nippon Steel, Malaysians SapuraKencana Petroleum and Malaysia Marine & Heavy Engineering (MMHE), China’s Offshore Oil Engineering Company (COOEC), India’s Larsen & Toubro, Saipem’s Indonesian subsidiary and McDermott.
