The work will be carried out in Belgium, with delivery at Kaarsto scheduled for November, Statoil said. The Kaarsto expansion is aimed at receiving gas from the Mikkel field development next year. Statoil has technical operating responsibility for Kaarsto, where gas treatment capacity now is being boosted to 13.5 million cubic metres per day.
Fabricom bags Statoil job
Belgian contractor Fabricom has bagged a Nkr70 million ($8 million) contract with Statoil to build a receiving module, a control unit for gas and a raised piperack at the Kaarsto gas hub north of Stavanger.
