US federal regulators have cleared Kinder Morgan's Elba Island liquefaction project in the state of Georgia to introduce feed gas to the facility.
The order by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission moves the project closer to start-up. The first of the 10 modules is expected to be placed into service by the end of the first quarter of this year, with the others to come online throughout the rest of 2019.
