Most production was being kept offline midweek at the Shell-operated Brutus tension-leg platform off the US in the deep-water Gulf of Mexico following a 2100-barrel oil spill at one of the fields tied back to the facility.
Two direct vertical access wells at the Brutus field have been put back on production, Shell said. Those wells are in Green Canyon Block 158, where the TLP is moored.
