The Poseidon North-1 probe was drilled to a total depth of 5288 metres, and hit a 12-metre net gas interval in Jurassic sands but pressure data was inconclusive and sample analysis was not available to confirm the presence of mobile gas, said co-venturer Karoon Gas.

ConocoPhillips will now use the semi-submersible Trans­ocean Legend to drill the Pharos-1 well, which is the sixth and final well of the current campiagn.
