Ayazli is the third field to start production under the first phase of the South Akcakoca sub-basin development, said minority partner Stratic Energy.
The Akkaya and East Ayazli fields pumped first gas last year.
Stratic chief operating officer Martin Bilsland said front-end-engineering and design work is now progressing on phase two.
Stratic holds a 12.5% stake in the project, which is now operated by Turkish state oil company TPAO, with 51%.
