Designed to develop 1 billion barrels of crude in the Kissanje and Dikanza fields in about 1000 metres of water, the project consists of the world's largest floating production, storage and offloading vessel with a storage capacity of 2.2 million oil barrels and a tension-leg platform.

The operator said Kizomba B is on stream more than five months ahead of schedule, which it put down to its "design one, build multiple" approach used at the earlier Kizomba A FPSO and TLP scheme, which came on stream about a year ago in the same block and taps the Hungo and Chocalho fields.

The
