The UK North Sea is set to receive a major production boost imminently when BP’s $4.5 billion Quad 204 scheme comes on stream.
A spokesman for the UK supermajor confirmed this week that first output is being targeted during May.
The centrepiece of the 450 million barrel development is the newbuild Glen Lyon floating production, storage and offloading facility, which will be used to redevelop the Schiehallion and Loyal fields.
