Five drilling contractors have submitted bids to Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) in a tender in which the Indian state-controlled operator is seeking to charter up to three jack-up offshore drilling rigs.
Project watchers told Upstream that technical and commercial offers were recently submitted, with the contract likely to be awarded by next month.
ONGC is looking to charter jack-ups in two categories on three-year terms.
