Sources said M3nergy and Bumi Armada from Malaysia, Indian player Mercator, a consortium involving Canadian company Teekay Petrojal with an Indian player and Singapore based Tanker Pacific are the most likely bidders for the D1 FPSO tender.

“M3nergy is pegged as the front-runner for the ONGC tender and the company has also exercised an option for a 104,000-dwt, Panama-flagged tanker,” said an industry source.
