Five leading international offshore contractors have submitted bids to India’s state-controlled Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) in a $350 million-plus tender to provide 10 replacement wellhead platform decks for its operations off the country’s west coast.
Sources close to the tender process said technical and commercial bids were submitted on 23 June.
Those understood to have submitted bids include Indian engineering giant Larsen & Toubro (L&T), Singapore-based Swiber, China’s Offshore Oil Engineering Company (COOEC), Malaysia’s SapuraKencana and Abu Dhabi’s National Petroleum Construction Company (NPCC).
