CHINESE independent Poly-GCL Petroleum is in talks with Singaporean yard Sembcorp Marine about construction of a floating liquefied natural gas export facility.

It would be based on the latter’s GraviFloat FLNG concept, located in Djibouti and used to export LNG produced in Ethiopia.

Industry officials said talks are set to wrap up by the end of this year, leading to a possible contract signing early next year.
