Fluke has a foundation as the leading supplier of torpedo piles to Petrobras, resulting in global contracts and close to 180 deliveries.
These structures, weighing up to 120 tonnes, are fabricated at Fluke’s base in Macae, north of Rio de Janeiro, along with anchor buoys and other mooring products. In Macae, Fluke also has a rigging centre, used by clients such as Wellstream, Subsea 7 and Technip, and a structural laboratory facility for carrying out mechanical tests, including impact and failures and qualification and inspection services.
