US supermajor Chevron has reiterated that its liquefied natural gas growth plans are centered on Western Australia and Canada, write Russell Searancke and Amanda Battersby.

In Western Australia, the company operates the Gorgon and Wheatstone LNG projects, while in Canada it is the operator of the proposed Kitimat LNG project.

Chevron said it generated net production of almost 400,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day from Gorgon and Wheatstone in the fourth quarter of 2018.
