The Forvie North gas/condensate field, located 33 kilometres to the south of the Alwyn North platform, was discovered in June 2002
The field, 100% operated by Total, will be developed as a satellite to Alwyn North.
First production is expected in late 2005.
At plateau, the field is expected to produce 18,600 barrels of oil equivalent per day from a single well in the Brent formation, via a subsea manifold.
