Petropars recently took over management responsibilities for the much-delayed Bid Boland scheme from the National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC) and, along with Norway's Statoil operating offshore, has been in charge of phases 6-8 of the South Pars project under a two-year-old buy-back contract.
While proceeding with the engineering, procurement and construction tenders, Petropars sent out invitations to 12 companies this month for possible joint ventures to manage both South Pars phases 6-8 and Bid Boland.
