Petrobras is carrying out eight decommissioning projects off the Brazilian coast to be concluded over the next couple of years, writes Fabio Palmigiani.
Besides the Cacao job in the Espirito Santo basin, Petrobras is working on the decommissioning of four floating production, storage and offloading vessels and a trio of semi-submersible platforms.
The campaign is more advanced in the Tartaruga Verde field in the Campos basin, where the Cidade de Rio das Ostras FPSO has already left the location to give room for commercial output via the Cidade de Campos dos Goytacazes FPSO.
