Australian independent AWE has selected four groups for a front-end engineering and design competition for the full-field development of the onshore Waitsia gas project in Western Australia.
The groups selected are Quanta with Suez, Atco Australia, SNC-Lavalin and Clough.
The FEED competition is under way, and AWE said its target is to complete all phases of the FEED by the end of its financial calendar year, which is understood to be June next year.
