US LIQUEFACTION specialist Cheniere Energy has produced first liquefied natural gas from the fourth train at its Sabine Pass export facility in Louisiana.
Cheniere chief executive Jack Fusco said during the company's second-quarter earnings call that the train is on track to begin commercial operations by 1 March 2018.
The Houston-based player said it shipped 48 LNG cargoes totalling 170 trillion British thermal units in the second quarter.
