Slightly behind schedule, but still on target for third-quarter start-up, the Skarv FPSO is currently docked at the Aker Stord yard for completion work and testing. The ship arrived on 1 March after a 93-day tow from Samsung in South Korea.
Soon the vessel will head for the harsh-environment Norwegian Sea field, located about 35 kilometres south of the Norne field and 200 kilometres from shore.
