Privately owned US liquefied natural gas developer Freeport LNG is set to consider expanding its Texas facility beyond the four liquefaction trains it is already planning, writes Caroline Evans.
"We have visions of Freeport being more than just a four-train company," Freeport LNG chief executive Michael Smith told Upstream on Monday.
Freeport is currently building a three-train, 15 million tonnes per annum LNG export facility near Houston, with Train 1 expected online in September.
