Energean Oil & Gas will be hoping to tie down fresh gas offtake contracts for its Karish & Tanin development off Israel following its latest discovery at Karish North.
“This allows us now to have very serious discussions with the Israeli government and neighbouring countries about selling more gas,” chief executive Mathios Rigas said. The floater Energean is building for the development will be able to handle up to 8 billion cubic metres per annum of gas, as well as 800,000 barrels of liquids.
