NETHERLANDS-based Fugro Geosurveys has filed an application to use its Fugro Discovery vessel for an oil seep survey off Newfoundland, Canada.
The work will take place in the Orphan basin or the Carson Canyon. Fugro will generate data on bathymetry, sub-seabed conditions, the water column and any oil seeps.
Offshore operations could start in mid-August and run for more than four months.
