Repsol Sinopec Resources UK’s Fulmar A platform in the UK North Sea is to become a dedicated oil export station for the rest of the Greater Fulmar Area (GFA) after ending its role as a production facility for the Fulmar field.
Fulmar has been a “great servant” to all its owners and to the UK, Repsol Sinopec said.
The platform has produced about 624 million barrels of oil equivalent since it started up in 1982, a recovery rate of about 76% from the Fulmar field itself.
