A joint venture between Comet Ridge and Vintage Energy aims to open up a new exploration play in Australia's remote Galilee basin with a well just spudded.
The Albany-1 well spudded on 19 May 2018 using Easternwell’s Rig 101.
It is the first well to be drilled in the Deeps programme, which is targeting all strata below the Permian coals.
