Portuguese independent Galp Energia is aiming for a 50% boost in its oil and gas output by 2020, underpinned by multiple pre-salt projects off Brazil in which it holds minority stakes.

The Lisbon-based player predicts that its production will average 150,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day by the end of 2020, up from more than 100,000 boepd in the fourth quarter of 2017.
