The company said the Gardenia probe in sub-area B of its Alba block off Bioko Island found 150 feet of net gas/condensate pay in the Upper Isongo section, which is also productive in Marathon's nearby producing Alba field.
A 60-foot net pay interval was tested at a stabilised rate of 18.6 million cubic feet of gas and 1300 barrels per day of condensate on a 40/64 inch choke.
