Work on the FSU is scheduled to start in early 2016, according to Gas Entec. The South Korean contractor will also select the small or medium-size domestic shipyard that will construct the vessel.
The FSU will feature GTT membrane tanks, LNG pumps and other main equipment.
South Korea’s Cryotank Solution, which has a technical assistance and licence agreement with GTT of France, will construct the Mark III type membrane tanks.
