Citing its abundance and more environmentally friendly footprint when compared to the likes of coal, Mulva challenged global regulators to encourage increased gas production via policy efforts, and not hinder development.
“Government policy has ranged from support to frustration,” Mulva told attendees at the 20th World Petroleum Congress in Doha on Tuesday. “Gas is clean, abundant and doesn’t need a miracle - it has already happened.”
