Indonesia’s upstream regulator SKK Migas and the nation’s Ministry of Energy & Mineral Resources are investigating a leak on a gas pipeline linking facilities operated by China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC) on Pabeloken Island with Cilegon, onshore Java.
The leak has hit CNOOC's ability to fully supply a power plant on Cilegon and the ministry is considering bringing in gas from elsewhere.
