ABERDEEN-based Wood Group has been awarded a front-end engineering and design contract covering a floating storage and regasification vessel in Greece.
The contract was placed by local company Gastrade, which is reviving plans for a liquefied natural gas terminal in the north of the country, called the Alexandroupolis Independent Natural Gas System.
Wood Group said a final investment decision is set to be made by operator Gastrade, a subsidiary of Greece’s Copelouzos Group, late this year.
