Gazprom is set to proceed with the development of its Kharasavey gas field on Russia’s Yamal Peninsula after receiving the go-ahead from President Vladimir Putin.
The Kharasavey development is led by a regional Gazprom subsidiary, which expects the field to eventually reach an annual plateau production of 32 billion cubic metres of gas from the shallow Upt and Senoman reservoirs.
