State-controlled Russian oil producer Gazprom Neft has signalled that it is on track with a project to explore and develop the Chona group of three fields in the Irkutsk region in East Siberia, writes Vladimir Afanasiev.
The company said a second horizontal development well on the Ignyalinskoye field flowed at more than 1800 barrels per day, demonstrating the efficiency of the 10-stage multifracking process that the company used after the completion of the drilling.
