Russia's Gazprom Neft has signed long-term operatorship agreements with Gazprom subsidiaries Gazpromdobycha Yamburg and Urengoygazprom to secure access to oil-bearing layers at the Yamburg, Pestsovoye and En-Yakhinskoye gas fields in West Siberia.

Oil producer Gazprom Neft said that at the Yamburg field it intends to drill wells into high-pressured deep Achimov formations below traditional Senoman sandstone gas reservoirs, using the latest recovery technologies to deal with low permeability.
