State-controlled Russian gas monopoly Gazprom has signed a protocol with the government of Turkey that will enable it to build a 200-kilometre onshore pipeline connector across the country to its border with Greece.
Gazprom and Turkey’s Botas then also signed an agreement that details terms and the route for the connector, due to transport Russian gas from Turkey to Greece and then to southern Europe.
