Privately-owned Greenland Gas & Oil (GGO) has closed a small funding round to bring in £1.1 million ($1.4 million) and has signed up a contractor to carry out more geoscience work in the coming months over its onshore exploration acreage on the Jameson Land peninsula in south-east Greenland.
Chief executive Mark Bilsland told Upstream the funds, raised from “management and associates”, will pay for a new full tensor gravimetric (FTG) survey that will provide a more comprehensive picture of the structural and sedimentary components of the basin.
