GHANA has ratified a revised Petroleum Agreement in favour of AGM Petroleum for the South Deepwater Tano (SDWT) block abutting the maritime boundary with Togo, writes Barry Morgan.

The block comprises ultra-deep acreage south of the Aker Energy-operated Deepwater Tano-Cape Three Points (DWT-CTP) block that hosts the Pecan development.

Gibraltar-registered AGM and indigenous partner Quad Energy - 100% owned by local businessman David Adomakah - have now committed to a larger work programme including four wells and substantial seismic acquisition.
