Ghana's gas credentials will take a leap in April with the arrival of the John Kufuor floating production, storage and offloading vessel, poised to treat 58,000 barrels per day of oil and up to 210 million cubic feet per day of gas for thermal power generation, writes Barry Morgan.
The John Kufuor capacity will add to associated gas production from the deep-water Jubilee field and the anticipated flow of wet gas from the Tweneboa-Enyenra-Ntomme (TEN) complex abutting the Ivory Coast border.
