France's Total is set to spud a wildcat well on the Glendronach prospect in the West of Shetland area off the UK before the end of the month.
Glendronach is located in Block 206/4a, the same block as the producing Edradour gas field, which is 1.1 kilometres away.
“We’re on course to spud before the end of May,” a Total spokesman told Upstream this week.
