Also, Tom Armstrong appointed as vice president for special projects, Phil Doyle as vice president for Americas, Richard Deitl as vice president for Middle East/Africa diving services and John Whites as vice president for business development.

* * Aberdeen-based subsea project management and engineering company CSL named Mark Gillespie as managing director.

* * UK-based BJ Services has appointed Bruce Campbell as senior region operations manager for Europe&Africa within its well services division.

* * Oilfield services giant Halliburton named Christian Garcia as vice president of investor relations and Evelyn Angelle as vice president of operations finance. Both appointments are effective 1 December.
