Private company GB Energy has outlined a development plan for the 50-year-old Golden Beach gas field in shallow water off south-east Australia.
The company said in a regulatory filing it intends to drill two development wells with a jack-up, install subsea production equipment, lay a 3.8-kilometre subsea pipeline and control umbilical to shore, build an 18.5-kilometre onshore pipeline, and a small gas processing plant.
