Equinor has selected Brazil-based joint venture GranIHC Services to carry out offshore hook-up and commissioning services for the second development phase at the Peregrino heavy oil development in the Campos basin, writes Gareth Chetwynd.
The 21-month contract, effective from 1 January, includes planning, mobilisation and execution.
The contract is geared to the installation of Peregino's wellhead platform C, currently under construction in Europe and the US.
