First gas was originally due in early 2004, but this slipped to the third quarter of 2004 and the latest expectation is that the beleauguered field will not come on stream until 2005.
Steve Hinchman, senior vice president of production operations at Corrib partner Marathon, said: "Due to delays in permits needed for construction of an onshore terminal, (Corrib) is now expected to come online in the first quarter of 2005."
