A number of environmental groups in Colorado have asked a federal court to intervene in an oil and gas development plan in the western part of the US state, saying it should require a climate risk analysis before being granted an approval, according to a lawsuit filed last week, writes Julia Martinez.
The groups — The Center for Biological Diversity, The Wilderness Society, and Wilderness Workshop — are suing the US Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Interior Secretary David Bernhardt, and several other BLM officials in US District Court.
