Mexico’s National Hydrocarbons Commission (CNH) has signed off on a Pemex development plan for the Uchbal field, one of the priority areas of President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador to boost the nation's production.

The state-led oil company plans to invest $266.5 million over the life of the field to develop 15.8 million barrels of oil and 7.27 billion cubic feet of gas in probable reserves.
