Oil Minister Abdullah al-Attiyah said the GTL plant will be capable of producing 137,000 barrels a day of fuels from two trains.
"We will hopefully sign it in two weeks. It is almost finalised," Attiyah revealed while attending an Opec ministerial conference in Vienna. First output from the GTL plant to be built in the industrial city of Ras Laffan is scheduled for 2008.
