Gunanusa put in a low bid in a tender round for the fabrication, hook-up and commissioning of the living quarters. A group bid from Thailand’s Cuel and South Korea’s Hyundai Heavy Industries was the next in line.
The tender was issued to replace the existing structure, which is understood to be sinking off Burma. Separate bids had been called for the transportation and installation contract.
