Hadrian North to be developed as tieback

HADRIAN North, an oilfield once viewed by ExxonMobil as one of the most promising finds in the deep-water Gulf of Mexico, is set to move forward to development via existing infrastructure.

Anadarko Petroleum said this week it will advance the discovery as a tieback to its Lucius spar in the remote Keathley Canyon area in the Gulf of Mexico, with first production targeted for 2019.
